Daniel A. Levinson (born July 8, 1965 in Los Angeles , California ) is a jazz musician from New York .
Levinson is from the Los Angeles area and moved to New York in 1983. He plays the clarinet in Andrej Hermlin's Swing Dance Orchestra , which u. a. Benny Goodman's 1938 Carnegie Hall concert . During his career Levinson played with Dick Hyman , Mel Tormé , Olivier Lancelot and Wynton Marsalis, among others . He played concerts on four continents.
