Dan Nuțu (born March 17, 1944 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian actor and documentary filmmaker .

Life

Dan Nuțu graduated from the National University of Theater and Film Arts “Ion Luca Caragiale” in 1966 . While still a student, he starred in films such as Vorstadtviertel and The Morning Hour of a Good Boy . He then received a theater engagement at the Teatrul Bulandra and shot other feature films with Migratory Birds , The Siege and Because They Loved Each Other. In 1972 he even dared to emigrate to the USA to try his hand at acting. But while he was working as a taxi driver, he was no longer given an extra role, so that he later returned to Romania.

Nuțu began training as a documentary filmmaker in 2005 and has made several films for the Franco-German television station Arte and the Romanian television station TVR 1 .
