Dan Shambicco (born August 30, 1991 in Basel ) is a Swiss - Israeli author .

Career

Shambicco lives in Riehen , where he works in education and training . He is an active member of the management of the Riehen Memorial , which recalls the fate of the mostly Jewish refugees on the Swiss border, their helpers and the rejection by Swiss authorities during the Nazi regime in the German Reich. The Riehen memorial was opened at the beginning of 2011 by Johannes Czwalina together with Rudolf Geigy from the Esther Foundation in a former railway switch house .
