The Dana Glacier is located in the Wenatchee National Forest in the State of Washington , about 0.5 mi (1 km) west of the Dome Peak . It flows generally northward for a distance of about 1.6 kilometers. A mountain ridge divides the glacier in two, while other ridges separate it from Chickamin Glacier in the east and Dome Glacier in the south. The Dana Glacier descends from about 8,000 ft (2,438 m) to about 6,000 ft (1,829 m) altitude.
