Dance 2 trance
Dance 2 Trance was a Eurodance and Trance project, consisting of the music producer Jam El Mar (civilized Rolf Ellmer ) and the DJ and techno producer DJ Dag (civilized Dag Lerner ).
biography
DJ Dag and Jam El Mar met in 1990 and started working together. Their first joint release as Dance 2 Trance was the single Dance 2 Trance named after the project . The first and biggest hit of the duo was the Trance - Hymn P.ower of A.merican N.atives . The song was sung by Linda Rocco . At the beginning of 1993 the single, of which over 250,000 units were sold, was in the top 10 in Germany and Austria .
Other chart successes were Take a Free Fall (1993) and Warrior (1994). In 1998, a new version of Power of American Natives once again made it into the charts of Germany and Austria. In addition to Dance 2 Trance, the two protagonists were also remix producers for Snap! active and worked under the project name Peyote.
In collaboration with Stephan Weidner ( Böhse Onkelz ), an instrumental piece called “Remember Exxon Valdez ” was released on the album “Moon Spirits” in 1992.
