Daniel Martín García (born February 19, 1977 in Madrid , Spain ) is a Spanish musician and actor. He was the frontman of the Spanish rock band El Canto del Loco (ECDL).

founding

In 1994 Martín founded the band El Canto del Loco with his cousin David Otero , which came in at number one with three of their albums in the 2000s. In 2010 the band members parted ways and Martín began a solo career. With his first solo album Pequeño he reached the top of the charts again in the same year. In 2013 Dani Martín had one of the summer hits in Spain with the song Cero , before he had another album number one in autumn with his second album, which bears his name as the title.

Dani Martín is also an actor, most recently he played the role of Jonah in the film Yo soy La Juani .

Private

He is a close friend of Atlético Madrid footballer Fernando Torres .
