Daniel Aegerter

Daniel S. Aegerter (born July 20, 1969 in Bern ; resident in Gurzelen ) is a Swiss entrepreneur; he heads his family office Armada Investment Group AG in Zurich .

Vita

In 1988, during his banking apprenticeship at the Swiss Bank Corporation, Aegerter founded the Swiss import and distribution company Dynabit to trade Apple products. In 1995 he launched an internet purchasing system for Dynabit's customers and suppliers, which provided the basis for the Tradex platform. In 1996 Aegerter founded the company Tradex Technologies in the USA from Dynabit . The Tradex software was an e-commerce solution for virtual marketplaces and served the rapidly growing B2B market. Aegerter still owns shares in Target Distribution in Austria, a wholesaler of Apple products.

Aegerter sold its B2B software company Tradex Technologies to Ariba in March 2000 for $ 5.6 billion . He got on the Top 40 list of the world's richest under 40 years of Fortune magazine .

Aegerter has been a co-founder of the Energy for Humanity lobbying organization for the global expansion of nuclear energy since 2014.

Aegerter is married and has two children. He lives in Zumikon .
