Daniel Alabi (born September 12, 1980 ) is a former German soccer player . The junior international played a second division game for Arminia Bielefeld .

Alabi joined the youth department of Arminia Bielefeld in 1995 from Union Minden . In the 1998/99 season, after relegation to the Bundesliga, he was a contract amateur in the professional squad. On March 1, 1999, Alabi came in the 86th minute as a substitute for Giuseppe Reina for his only professional appearance in the 5-0 victory over SSV Ulm 1846 .

In 2000, Alabi was appointed to the national team by Hannes Löhr , the coach of the German U21 national team. On May 31, 2000 he came to his only appearance in the U21 national team, when he came on in the game against Norway during the second half for Michael Kümmerle .

During the summer break of 2000, Alabi moved from Arminia Bielefeld to the regional league team Preußen Münster . There he struggled with some injuries, which meant that he only completed 19 appearances in two years and did not get beyond the role of a substitute. For the 2002/03 season, Alabi moved to Schönaich to the TSV Schönaich located there in the Württemberg Association League . After a season in which relegation was achieved, Alabi moved to the Regionalliga Süd to the amateur team of VfB Stuttgart . With the amateurs of VfB he came to a total of eight appearances in the first 10 match days of the 2003/04 season and was mostly in the starting lineup. From October 2003 to summer 2005 he did not play another league game for the VfB amateurs.

In 2005 he joined the league relegated 1. FC Pforzheim and played with the club in the Association League North Baden . With the club Alabi succeeded in the immediate promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg , Alabi scored ten goals in 24 games. After five games in the league, Alabi asked 1. FC Pforzheim to terminate his contract for professional reasons. The second half of the 2006/07 season he played at the Württemberg regional league club VfL Herrenberg , but the club was relegated to the regional league at the end of the season.
