Daniel Boone (actually Peter Green ; born July 31, 1942 in Birmingham ) is an English singer who released numerous singles from 1963 to 1970 under the stage name Peter Lee Stirling, adopted in 1958 . In 1971 he chose a new stage name after the American pioneer Daniel Boone and had several international singles successes in the first half of the 1970s .

Live and act

Boone's greatest hits with the Penny Farthing record label were Daddy Don't You Walk so Fast (1971) and Beautiful Sunday , which was a number one hit in Germany in 1972 . With Annabelle (1972), Sunshine Lover (1973) and Skydiver (1973) was followed by three more minor hits in the German charts.

As a composer and producer, Boone was in charge of the children's duo "The James Boys" in 1973, whose title Over and Over was a notable success in several European charts.
