Daniel Borissow Borimirow ( Bulgarian Даниел Борисов Боримиров , English transcription and scientific transliteration Daniel Borisov Borimirov ; born January 15, 1970 in Vidin ) is a former Bulgarian football player . Since April 1, 2013, he has been the sports director of his long-term club Levski Sofia .

Athletic career

Club career

Borimirow began his career in 1987 with FC Bdin Vidin in the Bulgarian second division. In 1990 he moved to Levski Sofia . From 1995 to 2003 he played at TSV 1860 Munich . In the Bundesliga he played a total of 214 games and scored 33 goals. In 2008 he ended his career with Levski Sofia.

Selection bets

For Bulgaria , he made 67 international matches and scored five goals. He was part of the squad at the 1994 and 1998 World Championships and at the 1996 and 2004 European Championships .
