Daniel Alberto Brailovsky Poliak (born November 18, 1958 in Buenos Aires ), also known by his nickname El Ruso (dt. The Russian ) is a former Israeli - Argentine soccer player who mainly played in the attacking midfield . After his active career, Brailovsky began working as a trainer.

Life

Brailovsky began his Porif career in 1976 at Club Atlético Peñarol , with whom he became Uruguayan champion in 1978 . During the same period he was also appointed to the Uruguayan junior national team.

In 1979 he went back to Argentina, where he was first under contract with the All Boys and then with Independiente . During his time at Independiente, national coach César Luis Menotti appointed him to the Argentine national team .

In the summer of 1982 he moved to the Mexican league for the capital club América , with which he had his most successful phase and was Mexican champions three times in a row .

He spent his last years as a professional footballer at the Israeli top club Maccabi Haifa , where he let his active career end.

Following his active time, Brailovsky coached various clubs; among others in Mexico the CD Veracruz , his Exverein América and the Club Necaxa .
