Daniel Stuart Care (born January 2, 1987 in Leeds ) is an English rugby union player . He plays as a scrum half for the English national team and the Harlequins . He is considered to be one of the country's greatest talents.

Career

Care began his professional career with the Leeds Tykes , to which he had switched from Otley RUFC . In the 2006/07 season he moved to the Harlequins after the club's relegation.

Care was a member of the national rugby team of 7 , which won the silver medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games . In the same year he also played games for the U21 and U19 selection, with the latter he reached third place at the World Cup. In 2008 he played for the England Saxons for the first time , the reserve of the national team.

Cares debut for the national team followed on the summer tour to New Zealand , where he was substituted on in the first friendly. When he met the All Blacks for the second time, he was in the starting line-up for the first time and immediately tried . In November he was used in all games in the starting line-up. In the Heineken Cup , he also proved his international class and helped his club to beat the favorite club Stade Français both away and at home.
