Daniel Cyranka

Daniel Cyranka (* 1969 ) is a German Protestant theologian.

Life

From 1988 Cyranka studied Protestant theology, philosophy and contemporary history in Naumburg an der Saale , Tübingen , Berlin and Halle an der Saale and obtained a diploma in Protestant theology in 1997 . From 2000 to 2006 he was a research assistant at the theological faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg . After graduating as Dr. theol. in Halle in 2004, he was the study inspector at the Evangelical Study House in Halle from 2006 to 2011 , as well as a lecturer in the subject of religious studies. After completing his habilitation in ecumenics, denomination and religious studies in 2010 at the theological faculty in Halle , he was a subject librarian at the regional church office of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany in Erfurt from 2011 to 2012 . In 2011 he was made an Honorary Research Fellow at Hope University Liverpool , Department of Theology, Philosophy and Religious Studies. From 2011 to 2012 he represented the professorship for missiology and religious studies at the Protestant theological faculty of the University of Mainz . In 2012 he became a university professor for religious studies and intercultural theology at the theological faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle- Wittenberg . In 2013 he received his ordination in Magdeburg Cathedral .
