Daniel Lytle Dolan (born May 28, 1951 in Detroit ) is an American sedisvakantist Catholic bishop .

Life

Dolan studied at the diocesan seminary in Detroit from 1965 before entering the Cistercian order and later further studying at the seminary of the Society of St. Pius X (FSSPX) in Ecône , Switzerland , where he was ordained a priest by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre on June 29, 1976 has been. Already in the seminar of Ecône in autumn 1973 he came to the conclusion that the only explanation for the liturgical reform and the false doctrines of the Second Vatican Council was that Pope Paul VI. no Pope could have been. He was ordained bishop on November 30, 1993 by Bishop Mark Pivarunas of the Congregation of Mary the Immaculate Queen.

Bishop Dolan has served in the Cincinnati Church and traditionalist communities in the United States, Mexico, and Europe since then .
