Daniel Eichholz

Daniel Eichholz (* 1978 in Wolfsburg ) is a German musician .

Eichholz studied classical percussion at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater and at the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin .

He is a three-time winner of the national competition Jugend musiziert in the category percussion solo and ensemble, has performed with orchestras such as the NDR symphony orchestra , the orchestra of the Hamburg State Opera under Ingo Metzmacher and the percussion ensemble of the Berlin Philharmonic under Simon Rattle .

As a drummer, percussionist and composer he is a member of the formations Hypercussion , 2raumwohnung , Toni Kater , Schulz and Sons , Tenement and Squintaloo . As a studio drummer, Eichholz appeared in CD productions for the bands Tocotronic , Marlon and Redkey, among others .

He has given concerts at home and abroad, for example with the Braunschweig State Orchestra in North Africa and with the Percusemble Berlin in China. He also took part in TV productions.

Daniel Eichholz lives and works in Berlin .
