Daniel Feik

Daniel Feik (born December 14, 1986 in Scheibbs ) is an Austrian composer , choreographer , author and actor .

Life

Daniel Feik studied classical ballet and modern dance at the Vienna Conservatory until 2005 . He studied music theater until 2009 (also at the KWPU) before moving to Munich in 2010 to study film music composition (ADP). He completed his studies in 2013 and has since worked as a freelance artist for various stages and orchestras.

In addition to his engagements as a performer and choreographer Daniel writes Feik to own orchestra - musical theater - and spoken theater -Stücken and chansons . His piece of fairy tale hour was shown at the Ronacher Theater in Vienna . His orchestral work Sucht from the cycle Five Other Senses was last performed in the Zögenitz Residence in Vienna. He composed the hymn Courage to Humanity as a commission for the Austrian Red Cross , which was presented on November 15, 2013 in the Vienna City Hall.

In 2013 he was co-founder of the feiiik association , which realizes independent theater projects in Austria and Germany.

In 2015 he composed the theme music for the ORF 1 comedy series Kalahari Gemsen .

His play APPetit (also APPetit.cc), in which he worked as an author, director and producer, has been performed up to 150 times a year at Austrian secondary schools since 2014.
