Daniel García Andújar
Daniel García Andújar (* 1966 in Almoradí , Vega Baja del Segura , Alicante province , Spain ) is a Spanish artist who uses the means of installation and conceptual art . Andújar lives and works in Barcelona .
Works
The platform for his work is the fictitious company "Technologies To The People", which he founded in 1996. His art project Postcapital. Archive 1989 - 2001 , which sees itself as a multimedia installation, stage space, open database and workshop, is based on a digital archive with over 250,000 files (texts, audio documents, videos, etc.) that García Andújar collected from the Internet over a period of ten years Has.
Together with Joan Vila-Puig and Elvira Pujol from the Sitesize project and Pedro G. Romero from Archivo FX , he designed the Catalan pavilion, which will be exhibiting for the first time at the 53rd Venice Biennale . By Valentín Roma curated exhibition La Comunitat Inconfessable (based on the book La Communauté inavouable , dt. The uneingestehbare Community , by Maurice Blanchot ) took place from June 7 to November 22 of 2009.
