Daniel Bogdan Grubeanu (born January 10, 1971 in Bucharest , Romania ) is a German dentist specializing in treatment, teaching and research in periodontics and implantology .

Life

Daniel Grubeanu grew up in Frankfurt am Main. The mother, Valeria Nanci-Birlic († 2006), was a well-known Romanian actress, the father, Victor Anagnoste († 2011), was a lawyer and president of the "Union of Romanian Lawyers". Today Daniel Grubeanu is married and has three children. After the state examination (1996) at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main , Daniel Grubeanu received his doctorate there in the same year. med. dent. This was followed by training in oral surgery in practices in Oberursel and Bitburg, as well as internship at the Aachen University Hospital , department for oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Grubeanu is an expert on prosthetics and implantology for the Rhineland-Palatinate Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists (KZV RLP), an expert at the Luxembourg District Court ( Tribunal d'Arrondissement de Luxembourg ) and a deputy member of the senior expert committee of the KZV RLP for prosthetics.

He is a speaker in the training of colleagues for professional societies and gives national and international lectures, including at the Philipp Pfaff Institute, Berlin. He is also head of the DGI quality circle “Implantology” in Trier and head of the DGOI study group “Implantology”.

Scientific career

Grubeanu is Professor of Craniomandibular Dysfunction Therapy in the Department of Health & Social Affairs at Fresenius University. He is visiting professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Szeged; Department of Oral Surgery, Department of Implantology and has a teaching position for the curriculum and continuum implantology by the German Society for Implantology (DGI) and the Academy of Science (APW) of the German Society for Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (DGZMK).

Grubeanu is the initiator and co-developer of the EMS piezo surgery unit for intraoral minimally invasive bone processing and the β tester of the ExpertEase software and hardware (Dentsplysirona) for navigated intraoral implantation.

Prof. Grubeanu is President of the DGOI (German Society for Oral Implantology) and initiator and co-founder of the DTMD University for Digital Technologies in Medicine & Dentistry, based in Wiltz (Luxembourg) and Vice Dean for Innovation and Quality Management.

He deals with imaging procedures in implantology: prosthetically dictated three-dimensional planning in oral implantology .
