Daniel Guggenheim (industrialist)
Daniel Guggenheim (born July 9, 1856 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , † September 28, 1930 in Port Washington , New York ) was an American industrialist and philanthropist .
His main philanthropic interests - along with his wife Florence - were social welfare in general, the development of aviation and the bandstand at New York's Lincoln Center (1966).
Daniel Guggenheim was Meyer Guggenheim's second-born son . His sons Meyer and Harry became ambassadors of the United States .
