Daniel Hagemeier (born November 3, 1970 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2017 .

Life

After completing secondary school in 1989, Hagemeier completed training as a social security clerk, which he completed in 1992. Subsequently worked as an employee at the AOK . In 1997 he completed part-time training with the AOK business economist exam. In addition to his full-time occupation, he worked as a lecturer at the AOK Nordwest training center from 2008 to 2014 .

Daniel Hagemeier is married and has two children.

Hagemeier joined the Junge Union in 1989 and became a member of the CDU in 1992. Since 2017 he has been deputy chairman of the CDU district association Warendorf-Beckum. He has been a member of the City Council of Oelde since 1994, where he was deputy chairman from 2009 to 2012 and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from 2013 to 2014. After the 2014 local elections , he became the city's first deputy mayor.

In the state elections in 2017 , Hagemeier was elected as a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. He won the direct mandate in constituency 86 (Warendorf I) with 48.1% of the first votes . In Parliament he is a member of the Labor, Health and Social Affairs Committee, the Main Committee and the Committee on Budgetary Control. He is the spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group for the main committee.
