Daniel Hediger (born October 14, 1958 in Bex ) is a former Swiss biathlete and cross-country skier .

Daniel Hediger is an electrician by profession and started for the Bex ski club . He was initially active as a cross-country skier and started several times in 1991 and 1992 in the cross-country skiing world cup , but without winning any points. Hediger then began biathlon in 1992 and has competed in international races since 1993. He had his first missions in Oberhof , where he was 46th in the individual and 38th in the sprint. The 38th place was also his best result in the Biathlon World Cup . The high point of the first season were the Biathlon World Championships in 1993 in Borowez with ranks 80 in the individual and 38 in the sprint. The 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer ended his short career . Here the Swiss competed in the sprint and finished 63.
