Daniel Hofer (born December 18, 1983 ) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Hofer started his career at FC Hitzendorf in Styria through the youth of FC Gratkorn and SV Thal, and in 1997 he joined the Gratkorner first team . After ten years in Gratkorn and a promotion to the second highest division in Austria, he moved to SV Bad Aussee in 2007 . After only one year in Ausseerland and relegation from the second division, he moved to SV Ried in Upper Austria in 2007 , where he was also able to celebrate his first appearance in the top Austrian division. Hofer came on as a substitute for Stefan Lexa on matchday 1 ( July 9, 2008) against SCR Altach in the 84th minute . In January 2009 Hofer moved to 1. FC Vöcklabruck one step lower. After relegation, he got a trial training at SV Kapfenberg , from which he was firmly committed after the injury of René Pitter .

In January 2010 Hofer moved to the southern Styrian regional league team SV Allerheiligen .
