René Pitter (born July 8, 1989 in Bruck an der Mur ) is a former Austrian football player on the position of midfielder on the right wing. Since 2007 he has been playing for Kapfenberger SV in the Austrian Bundesliga .
Career
Pitter began his career as an active football player in his hometown Veitsch with the local FC Veitsch . After playing through several youth teams, he was awarded twice to the youth team of Kapfenberger SV. In July 2005 he came to the young generation of the city of Kapfenberg . In January 2006, Pitter was added to the squad of the second team of Kapfenberger SV . Since June 2007 he is also in the squad of the professional team. Nevertheless, he had his first professional assignment some time before. He made his debut in the second-rate first division on May 26, 2006 in a 2: 4 away win over FC Kärnten . Pitter came into play for Philipp Seebacher in the 84th minute . In the 2007/08 season he was with the team champion of the Red Zac First League, after he was used for the team in 25 games of the second class.
On March 20, 2009, Pitter made his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga when he was on the pitch in the 4-1 home win over LASK Linz and was substituted for Boris Hüttenbrenner in the 64th minute . He scored his first goal as a professional football player in his first game in the 2009/10 season in the second round in a 3-2 home win over SK Austria Kärnten , when he headed the Kapfenberg in the 23rd minute after a submission by Markus Felfernig 1-0 lead. To date, he has completed 29 games for his club.
On August 5, 2009, Pitter sustained a serious knee injury while exercising. When he was shot, he twisted his right knee so badly that a scar that he had suffered from a cruciate ligament injury in 2005 tore open again. He also tore a collateral ligament and a tear in the kneecap attachment. Pitter was operated on in Graz that same week and then had to take a six-month break. It was not until February 20, 2010 that he made his comeback in the Kapfenberg professional team in a 1-1 home draw against SV Ried , when he replaced his team-mate Patrik Siegl for the entire second half .
In the 2010/11 season, Rene Pitter only played six times for the Bundesliga team of SV Kapfenberg due to his injury. Pitter played 23 games for the KSV amateurs and scored 6 goals.
Pitter was in the Falken starting line-up 20 times in the 2011/12 season. Under his new coach Thomas von Heesen, Pitter is set as a right defender. To date, Pitter has made 60 appearances for SV Kapfenberg, 35 of them in the Bundesliga. Due to his injury at the beginning of the season, he also played a few games for the KSV Amateure u before his Bundesliga comeback. a. in the Steirer Cup, which the Jungfalken later won.
