Patrik Siegl (born February 26, 1976 in Šternberk ) is a Czech football player in the position of defender and midfielder who has been a regular player at SC Gresten-Reinsberg in the Lower Austrian 1st Class West, a seventh division club, since 2014 .

Club career

Siegl began his career with US Uničov at the age of eight. In early 1993, the then 17-year-old midfielder moved to TJ Vítkovice . As a teenager Siegl made his debut on May 9, 1993 in the 1st Czechoslovak League. In the 1993/94 season he completed two first division games for TJ Vítkovice.

In the 1994/95 season Siegl did his military service with the then third division club VTJ Znojmo . In the summer of 1995 the defensive player was signed by Boby Brno . In Brno , Siegl appeared 157 times in five and a half years and scored 20 goals. The 1999/00 season was particularly successful for him: he was not missing a single league game and scored nine goals for his team.

At the beginning of 2000 Siegl, who can also play in the position of defender , moved within the Czech league to SK Sigma Olmütz . Siegl was also part of the regular formation in Olomouc . In three years he came to 81 missions in which he scored 13 hits.

In the second half of the 2003/04 season he should help the then second division SSV Jahn Regensburg to maintain the class, which the team did not succeed. After ten games for the Upper Palatinate , the 2nd Bundesliga chapter was over for Siegl . The Czech wanted to play in the regional league in Regensburg , but did not get the necessary work permit .

For the 2004/05 season he returned to the Czech Republic and joined his ex-club , which has since been renamed 1. FC Brno . As with his first engagement in Brno, Siegl was an important pillar of the team.

From the 2008/09 season Siegl played for the then Austrian Bundesliga club Kapfenberger SV . In the summer of 2010 he turned his back on Austria and returned to the Czech Republic and signed with Fotbal Třinec in the second-highest division. In the summer of 2012 Siegl returned to Austria and signed a one-year contract with SC Ostbahn XI in the Austrian Regionalliga Ost . After he terminated his contract there in December 2012, he moved to Kremser SC in the 2. Landesliga West, a fifth highest level , during the 2012/13 winter break . From there it went one league lower to the Lower Austrian sixth division club SVU Mauer in the regional league West the following summer . After only half a year, there was another club change, with the former Czech young international player joining the seventh division SC Gresten-Reinsberg with games in 1st class West, where he has been a regular player since then and also joined the club for the 2015 / 16 still listened to.

National team

Siegl played twice for the Czech U-18 team between 1993 and 1994. In 1996 and 1997, the defensive all-rounder made nine appearances in the U-21 and scored three goals.
