Markus Felfernig (born June 18, 1983 , Salzburg ) is a former Austrian soccer player . Since 2008 he has played for Kapfenberger SV in the Austrian Bundesliga . He ended his career with this club in 2015.

Career

Felfernig began his career as an active soccer player at USK Elsbethen in Salzburg . He later came to SV Austria Salzburg via PSV Salzburg , where he also made his Bundesliga debut. In the 2000/01 and 2001/02 seasons he was already a player in the Bundesliga, but could only play five games before he was awarded for one year to ASVÖ FC Puch in 2002. After the takeover of SV Austria Salzburg by Dietrich Mateschitz in 2005 and the renaming to FC Red Bull Salzburg , Felfernig was only a player of the amateurs, to which he belonged until 2008. That year he moved to the Bundesliga promoted Kapfenberger SV .
