Daniel Jefferies (born January 30, 1999 in Bridgend ) is a Welsh football player .

Career

Daniel Jefferies began his career in Wales with Swansea City . He played for the club until 2017. At the age of 18 he moved to Colchester United in England. For the club, he played in the U-23 team for half a year from July 2017. In January 2018 Jefferies signed a contract with Scottish first division club FC Dundee . The center-back made his professional debut in the Scottish Premiership on May 5, 2018 . In the duel of the 36th game day against Hamilton Academical which was won 1-0, he came on the field in the 74th minute for Roarie Deacon . On the last day of the match he was in the starting line-up against Partick Thistle (1-0 defeat) and played for the entire duration of the game. Without further commitment for Dundee, Jefferies was awarded to the Scottish second division club Partick Thistle from August 2018 to January 2019. He was used four times.
