Daniel Kelly ( Daniel Joseph "Dan" Kelly ; born September 1, 1883 , † April 9, 1920 in Fernie , Canada ) was an American long jumper and sprinter .

In May 1906, the University of Oregon student set an annual world record in the long jump with 7.37 m. One month later he set the world record over 100 yards (9.6 s) and 220 yards (21.6 s). In 1907 he became the US long jump champion.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 he won the silver medal with 7.09 m behind his compatriot Frank Irons and ahead of the Canadian Calvin Bricker (7.08 s).
