Daniel Meyer (art dealer)

Daniel Meyer (born May 31, 1973 in Augsburg ) is a German art and antiques dealer , auctioneer and television personality.

Life

Daniel Meyer completed his studies in art history in 1998 with a Magister Artium . He financed his studies by trading in antique and flea markets. After graduating, he opened a junk shop in Münster , and later an art trade, and worked as an agent, appraiser and online dealer. He has been running an auction house in Münster since 2008, where he holds art and antiques auctions four times a year.

Meyer achieved national fame through his appearances as an art and antiques dealer in the ZDF television series Bares for Rares , of which he has been a member of the dealer team since the third season of 2014.
