Daniel Wamosy
Daniel Wamosy (* July 18, 1801 as Daniel von Vamosi in Patak (Hungary); † April 14, 1860 in Hamburg ) was a bookbinder and manufacturer .
Life
Wamosy came to Hamburg as a journeyman bookbinder and owned a leather tannery and paint and oilcloth factory on Hammerdeich .
Daniel Wamosy married Dorothea Wilhelmine Costede (1809–1875) on November 21, 1827.
In 1848 Wamosy was a member of the Hamburg Constituent Assembly . From 1859 to 1860 he belonged to the Hamburg citizenship , for which he was elected in the 36th district of the general elections. In the 20th session of the citizenship on April 14, 1860, Wamosy suffered a stroke , from which he died.
