Daniel Wyttenbach
Daniel Albert Wyttenbach (born August 7, 1746 in Bern , † January 17, 1820 in Oegstgeest ) was a Swiss philologist .
Daniel Wyttenbach was born as the son of the theologian David Samuel Daniel Wyttenbach . He was a professor at the Athenaeum Illustre Amsterdam . From 1799 to 1818 he was a professor at the University of Leiden . In 1811 he was elected a corresponding member of the Göttingen Academy of Sciences .
In old age he married his niece Daniel Jeanne Wyttenbach .
