Daniela Decurtins

Daniela Decurtins (* 1966 in Graubünden ) is a Swiss business journalist . From 2002 to 2012 she was a member of the editor-in-chief of the Tages-Anzeiger . Since 2012 she has been director of the Association of the Swiss Gas Industry .

Life

Daniela Decurtins studied history, economics and political science at the University of Zurich. In 1993 she finished her studies with a thesis on the democratic movement of the 1860s in the canton of Zurich. In the 1990s she wrote as a journalist for the Tages-Anzeiger with a focus on economics and politics. With her book Siemens. She devoted herself to the anatomy of a company in German economic history. Decurtins was deputy editor-in-chief of the Tages-Anzeiger from 2002 to 2012 . She built up the regional editions of the Tages-Anzeiger in the Zurich region, was responsible for editorial and project management in the editor-in-chief, and headed the design department as well as proofreading and production control. After that, her activities shifted to management tasks.

From summer 2012 she took over the operational management of the Association of the Swiss Gas Industry (VSG) as director . According to the Handelszeitung , one of Decurtins' tasks is to represent the VSG "in the most important industry-internal committees and boards of directors as well as in economic-political organizations at home and abroad to which the association belongs".
