Daniela Mărănducă

Daniela Mărănducă , married Nicolai , (born June 17, 1976 in Constanța ) is a former Romanian gymnast and sports aerobics .

She began gymnastics with Farul Constanța at the age of six and was accepted into the national squad in 1991. She had her greatest success in 1994 when she became world champion at the World Championships in Dortmund with the Romanian team with Simona Amânar , Nadia Hatagan , Gina Gogean , Ionela Loaieș , Lavinia Miloșovici and Claudia Presăcan . Then she resigned.

After her gymnastics career, Mărănducă switched to sports aerobics and was a member of the Romanian national team from 1999. It was 1999, 2001 and 2003 European champion in the team competition and 2002 and 2004 world champion . In 2005 she resigned.

Mărănducă married her aerobics teammate Remus Nicolai in 2002 , with whom she founded a gymnastics club in Constanța in 2007.
