Danielle Bean (* in Barnard ) is an American biathlete , triathlete, and marathon runner .

Danielle Bean graduated from the alternative medicine A. T. Still University completed her studies there in 2009 and closed. She then worked as a physiotherapist for the United States Army . She competes for Vermont Biathlon . Bean ran her first international championship at the North American Championships in Summer Biathlon 2011 in her hometown Jericho , where she competed in singles and finished seventh with eleven mistakes. The North American Invitational 2012 also took place in Jericho. There Bean finished seventh in the sprint with eight errors, seventh in the pursuit race with 12 errors and sixth in the mass start with 15 errors. She achieved her first podium in the Biathlon-NorAm-Cup in the 2011/12 season in third place in a sprint behind Corrine Malcolm and Hannah Dreissigacker in Lake Placid .
