Danny Fuchs (born February 25, 1976 in Dessau ) is a former German soccer player .
In his youth, Fuchs played for Traktor Quellendorf, Motor Koethen and Halleschen FC .
In 1994 he moved to the then regional league club SV Wehen before moving to TSV 1860 Munich in 1996 . There he was only used in the amateur team. From 2001 to 2003 he played at Karlsruher SC in the 2nd Bundesliga , after which he moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth .
For the 2007/2008 season, Fuchs moved to VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga , where he received a three-year contract. After his Bundesliga debut against Werder Bremen on matchday one, he scored his first first division goal in Bochum's 5-3 win against VfL Wolfsburg .
For the first half of the 2008/2009 season, Fuchs only made a brief assignment at VfL Bochum, after which he was loaned to the second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern during the winter break . In summer 2009 he moved to FCK on a free transfer and signed a contract until June 2011. In 2010 he was promoted to the Bundesliga with his club. However, he did not get beyond the role of the supplementary player. After the end of the 2010/11 season, he ended his career. Fuchs then worked as a scout at FCK until 2016 and has since worked in the same position at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
