Danny Handling (born February 6, 1994 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football player .

Club career

Danny Handling was born in Edinburgh but grew up in Haddington in the East Lothian region . Handling began his career at Hibernian Edinburgh at a young age . For the Hibs , he played for the first time for the professionals in the Scottish Premier League in May 2011 . On his debut after a substitution against Derek Riordan in the game against FC Aberdeen , Handling was 17 years and 97 days old, making him one of the youngest debutants in the Hibees shirt . In December 2011, Handling signed his first professional contract with the Easter Road club . In the winter break of 2011/12 he was awarded to the Berwick Rangers from the Third Division , which is the only English club to have played in the Scottish league system since 1905. The two-footed handling of the Borderers was able to score 7 goals in 7 games of the season. After returning to Edinburgh, he played 15 times under Irish Pat Fenlon in the 2012/13 Premier League season and scored once in the 4-0 away win against Motherwell FC . In the Scottish Cup final 2012/13 , Handling and his club lost 3-0 to Celtic Glasgow , with the striker coming on for Eoin Doyle in the 71st minute .
