Danny Quah (born July 26, 1958 in Malaysia ) is Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics .

Quah's work in macroeconomics includes important contributions from growth theory , development economics , and monetary economics .

Quah received his PhD from Harvard University . He was active at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , Princeton, and the University of Minnesota .

One of his most important works is a discussion of autoregressive vectors with Olivier Blanchard , and his treatise on double-peaked income distributions is also significant.

In addition, Danny Quah is active in the martial arts Tae Kwon Do , in which he has won several awards.
