Hans Henrik Andreasen (born January 10, 1979 in Ringkøbing ) is a former Danish football player on the position of midfielder and football coach .

Career

Andreasen, who was born in Ringkøbing , played in his youth at two clubs from what is now Varde Municipality , first at Janderup BS and then at Varde IF . The 1.83 m tall right-footed player began his professional career at the age of 20 in January 1999 with the then second division team Esbjerg fB from nearby Esbjerg . Here he played for half a year in the Viasat Sport Division and rose at the end of the season with the club in the Danish Superliga , the first division. The team went back to the second division after just one year, but was able to win the championship there in the following season and thus achieve immediate promotion. Subsequently, Andreasen and the club succeeded in establishing this in the super league and even leading it into the UEFA Cup , where, however, after two big wins in qualifying against FC Santa Coloma (5: 0/4: 1) in 2003 retired in the first round after two games against Spartak Moscow (0: 2/1: 1). In total, Andreasen came to Esbjerg in six years on 187 league appearances, in which he scored 25 goals; During this time, he was also used for Danish junior national teams in a total of eleven games.

In the summer of 2005, Andreasen moved to Germany for SpVgg Greuther Fürth , which played in the 2nd Bundesliga . With the clover leaves he immediately became a leading player and top performer before falling into a form low after a shoulder injury. Even in his second year he was largely unable to continue his old form, and only towards the end of the season did an upward trend become noticeable - if he scored five goals in 24 games in his first year in Fürth, it was only one in his second season Goal in 25 missions; his contract with the Franks was extended by one year at the beginning of May 2007.

However, this he only fulfilled two more months before Andreasen returned to Denmark at the end of June 2007 and joined the first division club Odense BK . There he also became a regular player and was able to reach the runner-up with the club in his first season, this success was repeated in the following season. In the following years he regularly took part with the team in the UEFA Europa League , the successor to the UEFA Cup, and in 2011 even in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League . He had his most successful year at OB in the 2010/11 season, when he scored twelve goals in 32 games and also gave his teammates six assists. Andreasen also made his debut this season under national coach Morten Olsen in the Danish national team, when he was substituted on for Thomas Kahlenberg in the 62nd minute in a friendly against the Czech Republic (0-0) on November 17, 2010 . However, this mission remained his only one for the national team.

In the following 2011/12 season, Andreasen only made 25 appearances with five goals due to injury. In the preliminary round of the next 2012/13 season he barely came out on the status of a substitute, in 18 appearances he played only six times from the start. So he left the club after five and a half years in the winter of 2013 and returned to Esbjerg fB , where he was able to secure a regular place in the second half of the season.
