Daniel Leslie Schayes (born May 10, 1959 in Syracuse , New York ) is a retired American basketball player.
The son of American basketball legend Dolph Schayes was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 1981 and spent his prime with the Denver Nuggets . After 18 years, Schayes ended his long career in 1999. Schayes was characterized above all by a good middle distance throw.
Schayes lives with the former Olympic high diver Wendy Lucero . His college degree with honors in organic chemistry is also remarkable.
