Dany Brillant (born December 28, 1965 in Tunis ; real name Daniel Cohen ) is a French singer .

Life

In 1966 he moved with his parents near Paris. He taught himself to play the guitar after receiving his first guitar from his grandfather at the age of 14. After graduating from high school in 1982, he began studying medicine, which he gave up in 1986 in order to be able to perform in a cabaret in the Paris district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The following year he began an acting training. In 1990 he got a contract with Warner for the production of three albums, the first was released in 1991. The following year he achieved his breakthrough with his first major success, the song Suzette , which landed third in the French charts. In 1997 she performed at the legendary Olympia in Paris and in 1999 she performed with Celine Dion at the Stade de France .
