The Gdansk shipyard and railway workshops AG was a 1919 from the Imperial Shipyard in Gdansk emerged shipyard .

history

The shipyard emerged from the former Imperial Shipyard after the end of the First World War . The shipyard had four slipways up to 180 meters in length. There were also four floating docks with lifting capacities from 1,400 to 16,000 tons. From 1932 onwards, the Free City of Danzig company operated temporarily as The International Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. Ltd. Ludwig Noé had been the company's general manager since 1919 . After 1945 the Danzig shipyard and railway workshops were combined with the Danzig operation of the Schichau works to form the Stocznia Gdanska shipyard .
