Daorung Chuvatana
Daorung chuvatana ( Thai ดาวรุ่ง ชู วัฒนะ , RTGS daorung chuvatana * 1. April 1969 in the district of Nam Pat of Uttaradit province , northern Thailand ) is a former Thai boxer in the bantamweight .
Professional career
Daorung began his professional career in 1985. On July 16, 1994 he boxed against John Michael Johnson for the world championship title of the association WBA and won by technical knockout in round 1. He defended this title twice and lost it in September of the following year to Veeraphol Sahaprom on points.
On October 27, 1996 he won the title again when he defeated Nana Yaw Konadu by "technical decision" in the 10th round. The following year he defended him against Félix Machado on points; he later lost it to Nana Yaw Konadu by technical knockout. Immediately afterwards he ended his career after 61 wins and 7 losses.
