Veeraphol Sahaprom ( Thai วีระ พล สห พรหม , RTGS Wiraphon Sahaphrom , including: Wiraphon Nakhonluangpromochan - วีระ พล นครหลวง โปร โม ชั่ น , real name: Thiraphon Samranklang - ธี ระ พล สำราญ กลาง * 16th November 1968 in the district of Kaeng Khoi of Saraburi province , Central Thailand ) is a former Thai boxer in the bantamweight .

Professional career

Veeraphol started his professional career successfully in 1994. On September 17, 1995, already in his 4th fight, he boxed against Daorung Chuwatana for the world championship title of the WBA association and won by a split judge's decision. However, he lost this belt in his first title defense in January of the following year to Nana Yaw Konadu through a technical knockout.

He was also the end of December 1998 WBC World Champion when he knocked Jōichirō Tatsuyoshi in the 6th round. He defended this belt 14 times and lost it on April 16, 2005 to Hozumi Hasegawa by unanimous decision.

In 2010 he ended his career.
