Daphne Marie Corboz , in French sources also Daphné Corboz (born June 14, 1993 in Mobile , Alabama ), is an American - French soccer player who has been under contract with the French first division Paris FC since summer 2020 .
Career
societies
During her studies at the Georgetown University Corboz played 2011-2014 for the local university team in the Georgetown Hoyas and ran parallel to it in 2013 for the W-League - Franchise of the Pali Blues , with which they won the championship. In January 2015 she was signed by Sky Blue FC in the third round of the college draft of the NWSL at position 22. However, Corboz had already indicated before the draft that she was about to move to the English first division club Manchester City and would initially not appear in the NWSL. Corboz made five appearances for the United States' national U-23 team in 2015. In November 2017 she was called to a training camp for the French national B team.
