Darci Vargas
Darci Sarmanho Vargas (born December 12, 1895 in São Borja , † June 25, 1968 in Rio de Janeiro ) was the wife of the Brazilian politician Getúlio Vargas from March 1911 . She was the First Lady of Brazil during his tenure as President from 1930 to 1945 and from 1951 until his suicide .
She was a distinguished philanthropist and founded numerous charities.
