Darius Skusevičius
Darius Skusevičius (born August 7, 1983 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian diplomat and politician ( Vice Minister ).
Life
After graduating from the Vilnius Middle School , he completed the bachelor's degree program systems at the Vilniaus universitetas from 2002 to 2006, the bachelor's degree in business management and administration at the ISM University of Management and Economics in Vilnius from 2009 to 2012 and the master's degree from 2012 to 2014 Political Science at the Vilniaus universitetas.
From 2001 to 2003 he worked as a computer science specialist at Lietuvos metrologijos inspekcija. From 2004 to 2005 he was president of the student council of the Vilniaus universitetas and from 2005 to 2007 vice-president of Lietuvos studentų atstovybių sąjunga . From 2006 to 2008 he was director of the Nacionalinė jaunimo ir studentų agentūra . From 2007 to 2009 he was the chief specialist at Jaunimo reikalų departamentas at the Lithuanian Ministry of Social Affairs and from 2010 to 2011 director of VšĮ “ Vilnijos verslo incubatorius”. From 2009 to 2012 he was an assistant to European Parliament member Justas Paleckis in the Vilnius office. From 2007 to 2013 he was director of the Savivaldos plėtros institutas .
From 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the council of the district municipality of Šalčininkai . From 2013 to 2015 he was advisor to the Minister Linas Linkevičius in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania . From 2015 to 2016 he was a ministerial advisor in the Lithuanian representation to the EU . Since January 11, 2017, he has been Deputy Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius (in the Skvernelis cabinet ).
He is a member of Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
He speaks English, Polish, French, Russian.
He is married.
