The Net - Internet Death Trap is an American television series based on the film The Net . Angela Bennett starred in the series Brooke Langton and in the film Sandra Bullock .

Computer expert Angela Bennett accidentally receives a top secret email with information about an elite terrorist organization called the Praetorians. Angela soon discovers that the Praetorians aim to rule the world . Upon discovering this, the organization kills a friend of Bennett's and erases her identity from all government computers. She flees so as not to be killed herself. The head of the organization is Sean Trelawney, his assistant is Greg Hearney (Mackenzie Gray). During her escape, she makes new friends like Jacob Resh and the Sorcerer, of whom she only knows the voice. The sorcerer helps her escape with clues about the organization. So she can eventually win the fight.
