The German folk song. The magazine for his knowledge and care was an Austrian music magazine, which was published from 1899 by Josef Pommer . The magazine was one of the first musicological organs to publish folk music .
It was replaced in 1947 by the magazine Volkslied - Volkstanz - Volksmusik (until 1949) and since 1952 by the yearbook of the Austrian folk song , which is published by the Federal Ministry for Education in Vienna .
