The forgotten horse (original title: Saving Winston ) is an American film drama from 2011 , which was released on DVD in Germany in 2012.

Ashley, a drug addict and criminal, moves in after her withdrawal to live with his aunt Diane, who runs a horse farm. Once there, Ashley finds Winston, a decrepit horse that she nurtures again. Aunt Diane and people around her are deeply rooted in the Christian religion. So it doesn't take long for Ashley to put her life in God's hands too.
