Continuous advertising
Infomercials are in accordance with the common policies of the state media authorities for advertising, to carry out the separation of advertising and program and for sponsorship on television TV shows with a length of 90 seconds, which mainly consist of advertising products. The presentation of the products is usually designed editorially. The broadcasts are to be identified throughout the broadcast with the lettering advertising broadcast or permanent advertising broadcast . Typical permanent advertisements were the wheel of fortune , the price is hot , go all out or hop or top . Some YouTube channels, e.g. B. the terminal blocks - vlogger hero of the stones , mark their program as a long-term commercial if the promotion of goods or services is in the foreground of the respective program.
In addition, sales shows , infomercials and DRTV ( Direct Response Television ) spots for teleshopping are long-term advertisements.
After the Wok World Cup in 2006 and 2007 violated the prohibition of surreptitious advertising in the State Broadcasting Treaty, these and similar events were marked as long-term advertising as part of TV total from 2009 due to the numerous advertisements that appeared there . As a protest, Stefan Raab arranged for his late night show TV total to be shown the ironic label of permanent television broadcast until December 19, 2013 .
Differentiation from sporting events
The broadcast of sporting events is usually not a permanent advertisement in the legal sense, because the brand names shown are outfitters and sponsors.
