Controversy with Lego

In January 2019, Panke received a legal letter on behalf of Lego, in which he was asked to change his logo, which resembled a typical brick, as there is a risk of confusion with Lego. The background to this was that Panke had applied for trademark protection for its logo, whereupon Lego endeavored to protect its own brand. Panke then criticized Lego for its approach in a video and announced that from now on it would also introduce products from other manufacturers of terminal blocks and no longer limit itself to Lego. He then had his trademark canceled. Lego received harsh criticism from various quarters for the type of communication. The dispute was settled a short time later. Lego announced that communication was unhappy.
